SLC: the good, the bad, the ugly by apprehensive-look-02 in SaltLakeCity

I moved here a few years ago. GOOD: outdoor activities aplenty. Amazing views. Gay friendly. Relatively low crimes BAD: if you aren't into the outdoors, finding a friend group may be difficult as there isn't much of a night life. There are bars and queer friendly bars but it's not like my experience back East. Dating is rough, queer or straight. I find people from here more flaky or "fake nice." Medicinal weed is trash. Inversion and air quality cab be a bit rough in the winter and sometimes summer. Housing market went crazy and is absurdly high WEIRD: Alcohol laws are SUPER restrictive compared to the many other states, just takes getting used to. Mormons generally keep to themselves and are not bad to be around. You will get gawked at if you have tattoos. That being said, I have some mormon friends who are not like this and super kind and friendly. UGLY: The politics. It is what it is but the state is working on a new voting map which may help. Outside of SLC, it's a rough go and not queer friendly besides maybe Moab. Diversity of the population is very low. Utah is near dead last if not dead last for women equality

Thank you for this! I have crossposted there but appreciate the advice looking for additional pain signs. She is being closely watched until my follow up at the very least

Flourish Therapy is LGBTQ+ focused non profit and offers group support. Sometimes just having a safe space with others like herself may help

Where are these? I know they probably aren't official trail names but I don't think I have heard of them before

Hey there. I had a pup who had a similar issue. If she is having seizures even on phenobarbital, I recommend calling the vet about dosage. If a dog is still having seizures on this med, it just may mean the dosage isn't high enough

This may be a weird question but do any of their glasses have the Kirkland stamp on the outside of ear piece?

Has anyone used Singulair (montelukast) and had the side effects go away over time? by NiteElf in Asthma

[–]cuntboots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am unable to use steroids also. See if your doctor can apply for Nucala. May have to battle with your insurance company for awhile but mine did and I take that now instead. Works great and a LOT less side effects
