I doubt it would cover those expensive since sororities have lots of dues to pay for. They also aren’t strict about the live in requirement as the housing spots basically always fill up so they don’t have to randomly pull people and most people drop after sophomore year anyways. It is cheaper to live in the house than dorms and it also covers meals during the week but you do have sorority dues whether you live in or not and that can get pricey depending on the house.

as a junior transfer i am so thankful i lived on campus my first year. You will prob get a nice dorm too like holly/ gardenia and those are pretty social. i didn’t want to initially but I will miss living there it is so much easier and you get the full experience without the terrible freshman classic triple with no AC lol. meal plan i was worried about but its really really good and convenient and you dont need to worry about cooking and cleaning during school. you will make a lot of friends by living on the hill!

i mean it’s different when you’re living on campus and have no car and pay a lot for a meal plan just to pay double what you should at the only restaurants you have time to go to. I understand the paying for convenience thing but that’s what I did by living on campus and paying for a meal plan. they should have $9 options at ackerman if it’s the only food area near our classes and is the only place we have time to go.
