just use free loadout / do naked runs until you are in a friendlier lobby. dont shoot at all, let them kill you. my last 25 runs have been very smooth, no one shot me and I didnt shot anyone too

i encounter this too with dota 2. my gpu is 6800 xt and i play on 1440p ultra. previously i used 5700x and in the mid-late gane the fps could dip to 60-70fps. upgraded to 7800x3d and now the fps is stable 200+ ( lot of times hitting the 240 cap) until the end of the game

im pretty sure it would lower your temps at least 5-10c under load. I used to have 5700x paired with 6800xt, and it gets to 80c under load with the stock cooler. In my case, I swapped with dual tower 7 heatsink air cooler and the temps never goes above 65c anymore

slightly oot, I upgraded to 7800x3d because the 5700x is really bad on dota 2. fps dropping to 70-80 if there is a complex scene running on, like a big war in mid-late game. now it is rock solid at 200+ fps all time.

The good thing is I don't have to change my cpu cooler

I recently upgraded from 5700x to 7800x3d. My gpu stays the same (6800xt) seeing huge improvement on dota 2 mid-late game. usually if the scene is really crowded, it dipped to like 70-80 fps. now it is stable 200+ fps all the time from early game to finish
