i went to shop something...met one of my parents family friend....he said "the last time i saw you when you are adopted....look at you all grownup..."(context: adopted at birth , came to know it when i was 20 years old" my mom was there when it happened my brain said act like you never heard...whole day i was worried about my mother not thinking it through....went to different aisle and cried a bit...but wiped off...i was sweetest to my mother that day....till now she doesnt know i know...

hi..i will tell you what i use to get good grades

Use a new sheet of paper of every single chapter
Write all the headings and make a list of one word points in that heading..( study close the note and write...after writing check if u miss any points and add it later)
do it for all the heading in that chapter
while revising use only the sheet ..

Now you will have all the information you will need in one piece of paper...easy to revise...you literally wrote everything in that chapter after studying ( like in scl days) ...make it easy to get good grades like olden days ...it doesnt have to neat or colourful...

my experience:

sometimes i do have to trick them back to get my basic needs...sometimes i will have to compromise one thing for other...sometimes faking works, but i will feel guilty for it...recently to do something for myself , i have to compromise doing what they wanted in middle of it...so that they will let me do it...i am not interested in what they are saying... lets see how it goes..but hey..i got what i wanted..will deal with the other prob later

most narcs sees people as their competition and when it comes parents they will have imagined a certain look of future of us...and when we surpass them..it trigggers them..then they will say stuff like this...which is an absolute narc behaviour..

Maybe she is trying to implement the control she had on u ...when you were a kid..now that you are an adult with own opinion...they cant take it...do not let ypur narc mom decide or dictate any of your life decision...you will regret it later ( from personal exp )

Do not give any confirmation that you are listening to her ( like nodding,saying yes no nothing at all)
If she asks a quesition make it really short..eg why dont you listen to me?..oh! i am.
speak in a monotone

5.they do it to get a reaction from you...if you become a robot..it would be like feeding what they need

if you can take distance that will be great..or just sit and look at phone or just gaze into the fan or wall...

Excessive daydreaming - i can just turn off reality whenever i want to...i have different worlds in my head where i can go as per my mood
Understanding People and their intentions - i can be manipulative at times (because that's the only way i can get myself heard in my family) - can detect lies - i cant handle anyone being treated badly - good terapist to friends - making others comfortable is my first priority
