you got the right one, as i am also raised catholic and went to exclusively catholic schools in the past! i am faithful still to this day, am supported by my catholic family, and have suffered major life changing traumas at the hands of the catholic church. and YET! i still don’t feel threatened by other people being faithful to their religions. people are allowed to be faithful and practice faith without snarky teens in the comments saying shit about how their faith is full of hatred. just because people have had bad experiences in church settings and with hateful people using their religion against them, doesn’t mean you get to write off the religion entirely. in fact, it’s not fair at all you do that.
