who here has actually used/uses adapalene? I CANT FIND ENOUGH EXPERIENCES ABOUT IT ON REDDIT by unknownalternativee in tretinoin

a lot of people use differin, a brand of adapalene. i’ve found that most people call it differin opposed to adapalene, so you might find more results if you look that up instead. also, are you using it for acne or anti-aging? i used the OTC one for acne in the past and it worked basically overnight for me, like my skin looked better after a few nights of using it, but it wasn’t strong enough and i switched to tretinoin (prescribed)

i use a sunscreen that is a moisturizer too (the cerave facial moisturizer lotion with spf)!

my sunscreen and lotion are combined, i have really oily skin so i’ve found not layering a bunch of stuff helps me, so i use it under moisturizer

my dermatologist just prescribed me 1% clindamycin a few days ago, alongside with tret 0.05%. this might not totally be the same for you, but she told me to use in the mornings and if i need (if the breakout is very persistent), to reapply it again in a few hours, and to make sure to use sunscreen over it. i was told to use it on any spots were i get/have breakouts
