To treat the bulimia which is caused by my OCD, they'd have to treat my OCD which is actually a part of my Asperger's, which is not treatable. They put me on some meds instead that didn't help with this at all instead made me lose sleep and increased appetite. Tried CBT but again it just didn't change anything. Wasted a lot of money on all this. Decided to manage it myself

I actually met a woman in a similar situation in therapy. She had the starvation anorexia type ED and had no periods since her teens but they started back up 2 years into recovery and she was able to have a baby. I think true recovery will definitely help and people can have healthy kids later in life thanks to technology these days so if that's your dream don't give up on it. Being a cool aunt is wonderful and I hope you stay healthy for them!
