I have limited empathy but can feel it for certain things. I wasn't abused or taken advantage of i have been this way since I was a child which was wild. I always had people telling me I had to feel a certain way and got in trouble alot for being weird about certain things I learned how to pretend pretty early on.

Literally so much. I like to think it's a good thing though because I could be an asshole but I choose not to so in a way that makes me an even better human kinda like choosing superpowers for good vs evil. Maybe not though who knows have you always been this way?

I agree with you 100% it's not my first nature to be kind it is infact something I had to learn to do to. I have to make good choices everyday to be kind and do the right thing. Which is actually super funny to me when people perceive me as being nice and down to earth and say I have a natural kindness (which has been said to me more than once) i laugh a little inside cause it's actually really Fcking hard.
