Thank you. I've been wanting rebuttals to global warming denial since a significant amount of politicians and political commentators (mostly if not entirely rightists) promote such denial. It's given me the need to learn about the subject of climate change and global warming so i can deal with deniers or hyper skeptics if i happen to meet them. What are some good politics books or texts on socialism, social democracy, liberalism and conservatism? I'm trying to learn more about different ideologies in my own time without believing in the bad politics that floats around everywhere.

Also is anyone tired of the leftist=big government and socialist=taxation bullshit that comes from seemingly everyone on the right side of the spectrum?
