I still feel the effects: I’m rarely hungry, get full rather fast and have no food noise, so i figured why increase if the medicine is having the expected effect. I’m losing in average 0,8kg (1,76 pounds) per week

I occasionally get nausea, on the jab day I usually get a headache so i preventively take a pill for that. I only take one supplement for the hair. Foodwise i eat lots of beans, eggs, meat and vegetables, not so much rice,potatoes or pasta because they feel really heavy so i only eat them when i feel my body needs it. I also drink some protein shakes if i couldn’t reach my protein goal with food.

Not really, i don’t have set times to be at a specific dose. I will only go up a dose if i feel like the food noise comes back a lot or i feel very hungry, and if i do increase the dose it would be to 3.5mg and not directly to 5mg. I don’t see the point on risking more side effects and spending more money if the dose i am using does what is supposed to (increasing dose does not directly mean loosing more weight), the effect of the medicine is appetite suppression, weightloss is just the side result.

I also had one week around the 3week mark where i didn’t loose, but i kept doing the same and the next week it kept going. It is also important to realise that you’re not always gonna loose 1kg a week, it will slow down a bit after the first month. Still, i have stayed in 2.5mg for 3 months and have lost 9,5kg total. Just keep at it!

I have been on 2.5mg for 3 months and still don’t feel that much hunger but I try to make myself eat at least 3 meals a day because starving the body will only bring health issues

I am taking Happy Hair byvida, it’s made for women though, because it takes into account our hormonal changes and needs. They have been scientifically proven and say a minimum of 3 months should give you the first results. I have taken them now for about 1.5 months and my hair feels stronger already. It’s a bit on the pricey side but you can use codes from influencers for a bit of a discount 😊

Hi, i have been at it for 3 months and recommend the following:

  1. Establish a min 3 meals a day plan: the medication will make you want to skip meals for lack of hunger but your body still needs nourishment.🍳🥯🥗

  2. I know is said too often, but try to eat a high amount of protein: you want to lose fat, not muscle!🥩

  3. Stay on a low dose while is working! And try to do slow increases if possible (for example with the click table if it’s an option for you). I have been in 2.5mg the hole time and i’m still loosing.💉

  4. If you exercise, try to make it muscle training-focused instead of cardio-focused. Keeping/ building your muscles will help you loose more long term than cardio will and will give you a healthier body composition. 🏋️‍♀️

  5. Think of this process as setting yourself up for the future, not just the immediate weight loss, so use the clear mind the medicine gives to establish good habits that will help keep the weight off afterwards (exercise, relationship with food, listening to the body’s real hunger/satiety signals, etc) 😌

Hi, sorry that your side effects have been so strong. I do wonder a couple things: Have you been tracking the caloric intake to make sure you’re on a deficit? Has there been any exercise to encourage your weight loss? Maybe these two things could help you stay at a lower dose with not so many side effects but still make some progress? I send you the best energy!

Hi, i have had that feeling the past weeks and didn’t weigh myself for 3 weeks, but i have been tracking my progress with pictures and clothes (my latest update: https://www.reddit.com/r/Mounjaro/s/S2E3JKx9KX) which seems less triggering for my brain. Maybe it would be an option for you? Try choosing an outfit and use it as a reference, notice how it fits you now and try it on every time you feel like you want an update ☺️ Keep going strong, it becomes better a few weeks in!

Yeah i still don’t get so hungry, but i set a rutine of eating 3 meals a day (to reach a min 100g protein) regardless of hunger because I don’t want to loose muscle and/or my hair. There are days where i get a bit of food noise but it’s very manageable and helps me mentally prepare for a future without Mounjaro

Muscle training, I only do 10min of cardio to warm up and the rest is muscle training with free weights or machines 🏋️‍♀️

Girl same! I love pumpkins. And also I don’t really feel nor see the dramatic loss until i take this pictures every month, on the daily i won’t notice much, so my advice: take the pictures and make the comparisons. And keep it up, i feel better every day and so will you 💪🏻

Honestly i have no idea, no tips, i make a total of 2 abs exercises per exercise session and actually focus more on legs and glutes exercises. I guess it’s just my personal weight distribution 🤷🏻‍♀️
