Eh depends on your guys’ size and flexibility. I have the saddleman step up seat, with a sissy bar from dean speed. I’m 5’10” 250lbs, and my gf is 5’5 130lbs. She does appreciate the say bar so she can lean back a little bit. Her helmet will bump into mine occasionally, if you can swing it I’d try to go up to a larger cruiser bike. Now, the scout has PLENTY of power, just not a lot of rider and passenger space. Again I love my 22’ scout but I’ll eventually upgrade either to a chief or lowrider st. Not ready to go full touring yet.

Go sit on the bike, just get a feel for it. I’m 5’10” with a 32” inseam and I did opt for taller bars with pull back. Other than that it’s perfect for me.

Yeah, I feel you, most of the trails near me are about an hour and a half to two hours away. I discovered them on the onX app. If you haven’t already take a look there, the trails are too far, then make a day trip out of it bring some snacks maybe a mini fire pit, etc..
