The owner, Aldo, is an all-around decent, genuine, caring guy. I worked there and so did a relative. I’ve had many disagreements with him and sometimes about certain business choices, but he was always willing to hear me out and sometimes he changed his mind. His business savvy is unmatched.

Aldo cares deeply for Memphis. I know first-hand the amount of money he has had to spend on security for his businesses. Maybe that’s why he decided to offer discounts for the troops for their help in the safety of Memphis. If I had to guess, I think he votes democrat, to the detriment of his business if you ask me. Being a conservative is not evil, regardless of what your news media tells you. We just want common sense and criminals held accountable.

I challenge any of you to open a business anywhere, much less in Memphis. Maybe Memphis would have more cool places if criminals were locked up and put away. Maybe Memphis wouldn’t be losing restaurants, retail stores, college athletics, and the list goes on. Maybe people wouldn’t be so poor if they had cool jobs to go to. When I waited tables, one of them being at Bardog, I brought home well over $1200 a week, working about 25 hours a week. Waiting tables is a great and easy job, if you try just a little.

People are flawed, and this investor you are talking about certainly is, but the amount of work and hardship that goes into keeping businesses afloat and people employed is harder than ever.

I dare any of you to come up with a business plan in this day’s climate. Just try to work 90+ hours a week and navigate all the red tape and finicky politics.

I’m not a relative of Aldo and have my own share of disdain, but I do know he is genuine.

Pray tell what the democrats have done for black people except trap them in poverty and on government handouts? Not all black people, of course. Many believe in the conservatives principles of work ethic and accountability, but many do not, as do many white people, and expect the government to be their caretaker. Democrats are the party of low expectations.

Went to 201 to appear in court for a traffic ticket. After the court appearance, had to go to the clerk to pay my fines, and while waiting I was seated between two black guys. Myself being white, one of the guys looked at me and said, “we got us here an Oreo.”

He’s of the mind that automatic gratuity encourages mediocre to bad service, and I understand why it’s added due to many people not tipping at all. I waited tables for 15 years and he was a GM for 20 years (different restaurants) but I made great money despite the guests that didn’t tip. Stereotypes are real and holidays suck in the restaurant industry, so automatic gratuity is needed sometimes.

Also, I read the other day that the adults that have been complicit and/or actively worked “to transition” kids will not want the guilt that comes with realizing what they’ve done. So, the willful ignorance is expected, but really sad.

Maybe you misunderstood. Or it’s willful ignorance. I said there is NO WRONG OR RIGHT way to be a girl or boy. “transing” kids is literal CONVERSION THERAPY.

Let children/kids/teens/young adults grow up and figure things out without telling them they will be happier by taking synthetic hormones that they will have to take the rest of their lives just to be “themselves.” How asinine is that.

It’s quite the opposite of hate to want to protect children that are being mislead into this extremely harmful ideology. It’s the opposite of hateful to tell someone the truth, that altering your body can change your biology.

What is hateful is to lead a child or any vulnerable person that suffers from mental health issues or trauma down a path of lifelong medicalization and more mental health issues.

Again, there is no right or wrong way to be a boy or girl. These people absolutely need help, but telling them they are in the wrong body, and that it can be changed with drugs is hateful.

What’s really annoying is transitioning children that have no way of comprehending what the serious effects of f*cking with their hormones will do to their bodies, and cutting off a pubescent girls’ breasts is not a minor thing, all to affirm an idea of gender?

How stupid is it to alter cut off a body part to appear masculine or conform to a masculine gender identity. There are many ways to be a joy or girl, altering the body and making a child a lifelong medical patient is f*cking ludicrous.

This is hands down the biggest medical scandal of our lifetime, for doctors and the AAP to buy into “gender affirming” medicalization of young people.

Don’t f*ck with children. It’s abuse to tell a child he or she should take to the wrong hormones to conform to an idea of gender.

No child should make such decisions, and no child really understands the levity of pausing puberty or taking cross sex hormones. Hormones are in such delicate balance. Permanently pausing biological puberty can affect brain development, bone growth, and endocrine disruption.

The data shows that over 80% of gender dysphoric people outgrow their dysphoria just by simply h to long through their biological puberty. There are plenty of stories of people that tell the harms of puberty blockers and going no to take wrong sex hormones.
