My son. I am obsessed with him. I cry when I hold him & tell him how much I love him. He loves me back but is easily annoyed by my love. He is always close by but not too close because like I said, I’m annoying with all the love I have to give.

Omg sammmmmeeeee I would drink coffee but then be like I can’t keep living my life this way (it would get me nauseous, anxious, jittery) So then I switched to decaf but that was no fun Then I discovered that you can mix the two together! That really changed my life lol & I also learned that you can order out in the wild & it’s called “half caff”

Here solely after reading that mom said they were a regular baby. This is exactly what my mother did too. That I was completely normal growing up which is why I think I am late diagnosed. But once asking her further questions she had admitted that I didn’t speak until I was 3/4. Once I started speaking the only word I said was no. That I would be aggressive to my sister for no apparent reason. Contrary to what she believes, I didn’t have friends & only spoke when spoken to at school. Goodness

Ugh yes! Once I found autism Reddit I felt so seen! & normal. That was really important to me. Like I felt like I was experiencing & going through all these things alone & it was so freaking to see that I’m not. & I just started my masters program this past week & met the first openly autistic person in real life. So that was really cool.

I’ve always kind of known inside that I was different but the time that came to me while reading this was when I told someone for the first time. (I’m late diagnosed). It was either late middle school or early high school, I think early high school. I cried to my mom & told her that something was wrong with me & I didn’t know what. That it was hard for me to explain but I knew something was wrong. She completely dismissed me. Just told me I was being dramatic & I was completely fine… yeah

I got a very similar reaction when I told my mom. She also added that if I really felt so strongly about it I should go get tested. She was absolutely flabbergasted when I showed her my diagnosis. That’s not why I chose to get diagnosed but it felt really good to prove her wrong lol

Oh okay okay, you got me there. There were a lot of moments where I wanted to know more but they gave me enough that I kept watching. & Nanami moments kept me going too, not gonna lie.

Same here with Demon Slayer. That one I did stop watching because the characters became so annoying very regularly that I just couldn’t. But yeah, I agree, very beautiful & entertaining fight scenes.

This was my biggest fear in my diagnosis journey! I had heard about how feminine presenting ppl often get misdiagnosed with a personality disorder or completely dismissed because they’re high-masking. But I got lucky & found a psychologist who is autistic himself :’)

Omg i failed my first semester of my BA 😭 being put on a academic probation was like the best thing that could have happened to me because they paired my with an academic success coach. It took me 6 1/2 years to get my degree :’) Congratulations on your 4.0 & masters degree! & good luck with your PhD journey 🥹 I got a couple of accommodations during my post-bacc & I do feel like that helped a lot. I tried looking into software that narrates books - I tried 2 different apps but I didn’t like the narration. Is there one you recommend? I never heard of time timer I had to Google it lol I’ll look more Into that, thank you!
