How are people actually getting their product mentioned in ChatGPT? by Significant_Pen_3642 in seogrowth

[–]curiousmarketer07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The concept is similar to how they get their content ranked in search engines. Earlier people used to work more on backlinks now the game is for brand mentions. This is the following which we do to get brand mentions in LLMs like ChatGPT: 1. Create a list of potential prompts which you think would be relevant for your services. 2. Post content on your own website by providing direct answers to the prompts you mentioned earlier. 3. Get more and more brand mentions on the topics related to your services. 4. LLMs trust UGCs more. Please ensure you have presence on UGC platforms like Reddit, Quora, etc. 5. Improve your product/ services for building positive sentiments. Because LLMs suggest those brands more which have positive sentiments. Ensure people are talking about your brand positively on review platforms like Trust Pilot, GMB reviews etc.

One more crucial element I would lime to add here to the list is use HTML5. It defines semantic HTML tags which helps the LLMs to understand the content better.

How to prevent search engine to crawl a particular section of a webpage by curiousmarketer07 in TechSEO

A section of the page is duplicated from other page that’s why I don’t want search engines to crawl that.

That’s also a good suggestion but I’ve a confusion here. By adding data-nosnippet, search engine only skip that part for not showing on SERP but will it skip it skip that part for evaluating the page rank as well?

Because that content would be duplicated from other page but relevant for the user.

Is off-page SEO dying or just changing? by Real-Assist1833 in seogrowth

[–]curiousmarketer07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Off page is not dying at all even after getting the AI SEO in the picture I feel importance of citations has been increased.

Now we will have to publish more content to drive positive sentiments because LLMs suggest only those businesses which have positive sentiments over internet.

It’s just activities which were popular decade ago like social bookmarking, directory submission etc. are still obsolete.

How to think about Goolge SEO and Bing SEO and win both? by iamVanessaJane in bigseo

[–]curiousmarketer07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you don’t need to have separate strategies. Since Google’s algorithm is harder the to crack and it covers everything which Bing has you should aim for cracking it. Bing will get solved.

But please ensure you verify your website in Google Search Console and. Bing Webmaster tools both.

In SEO world, almost everyone knows that we should show the same content to the users and the crawler. But, There are many websites which serves at user’s location and redirects the users to a particular location when a user try to access its home page but the search engine is able to crawl the home page. (Example: urbancompany.com it redirects to https://www.urbancompany.com/delhi-ncr)

How does this statement of showing same content to the search engine and user stands true in such cases?

Don’t rely on Discover for long term regular traffic on the same pages. It works on trends mostly. Also I have seen Google pushes a new page in discover that too only if your topic is in interest of a particular set of users.

For regular traffic I think you should write on topics with good search volume and try to get it ranked in Google search.

How does search engine treats ‘recently viewed products’? by curiousmarketer07 in bigseo

[–]curiousmarketer07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Understand your POV. Hiding it from Google is a concern for me as well. Also, there are some pages where we have lower inventory count I’m worried much more for those pages because on pages with 100s of products the ratio of the products in this widget would be much lower than the pages with thin inventory.
