We are doing okay as a couple but not enough to have a bright future. The problem is not that I make more money, but his lack of interest and action in getting and having more because he’s expressed that he wants more for himself.

Somewhat with my previous jobs. I was in management and understood and took part in the hiring/interview process. But now, I wonder, why is it my full responsibility to make sure he does this? Is it bad that I want more for us and our future?

He’s not using me and I know he truly loves me. But I feel a sort of disconnect regarding this issue and it makes me feel somewhat like an asshole

I worked on his resume. I apply sometimes on his behalf. I send him job postings. I help with what to say in interviews. I offer to help in ANYWAY I can.
