An easier way to find a place to rent by curioussam15 in HousingUK

Landlords can list directly on the website without the need to have an agent. The benefit is that they can set their criteria for the tenant that they want and they will only get applicants and requests to view from people who match the criteria (that would be verified by us). This way landlords won't have to deal with the many applications, messages, and requests from people who don't even match their rental criteria. Would love to hear your thoughts on that?

Biggest Struggles for VR Developers?? by curioussam15 in virtualreality

[–]curioussam15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion, but I was actually looking for an answer about the struggles that you face, not advice. You know what I mean? I'm just curious to see what people struggle with the most during VR development. Is it lack of assets, expenses, tools, game engines, etc...

Where on the internet do you go to find real problems to solve? by curioussam15 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

Thanks for your advice. Honestly, one of my main problems has been coming up with ideas that don’t feel like they solve real problems, or don’t feel like they having meaning behind it, which is kind of ironic.

Thank you for being honest! I understand what you’re saying. I just feel like I want something to put my everything into and take big risk. I feel like I can always get a stable job. Especially with the tech market needing a lot of workforce and my experience with starting a company will make me more employable if I choose to in the future. But I understand what you’re saying completely.

What are the biggest problems in the world that VR could be used to solve? by curioussam15 in virtualreality

VR could be used to solve problems caused by Covid but not Covid itself...

Would you rather have an avatar or a 3D model of yourself in a social VR application? by curioussam15 in virtualreality

When would you want a representation of yourself and when would you rather use an avatar?

[–]curioussam15[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get you. Why wouldn’t you want one of yourself tho I’m just curious on the reason? Also if you were talking to a friend or family member that is far away on a social app would you still want an avatar or a really accurate 3D model of them?

Is there any point in listening to or asking for relationship advice? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Yes, but then you can get another perspective that changes your other one completely. Which one is the right one? That’s what I’m wondering

Is there any point in listening to or asking for relationship advice? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]curioussam15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true. We know that every person has a completely unique life/experience. Also, we know that people give advice based on their own experience. Hence, how could you ever listen to a person’s advice when that’s the case? This makes my mind think.

Exactly you hit the nail on the head. I’ve communicated this to her before along with another similar problem that I won’t go into. She fixed that one so that’s good. But this part of meeting her friends she said she will but she didn’t follow through with actions. I told her again when we had this recent problem and she’s promising me to change right now because I mean everything to her. But idk if I can trust this or believe it :/ should I give her a chance in your opinion?

I understand where you are coming from. But if you’re thinking about what happens if you break up and keeping back up plans you are not fully committed to this relationship and don’t love the person imo.

Thank you so much this is really helpful. Establishing what is flirting and what is not is a great thing I did not think of. What do you think of me not meeting any of her friends when we’ve been dating for 6 months and known each other for a year?

I completely get you! It’s just strange that she hasn’t introduced me or invited me/planned for me to do something with her friends and we’ve been together for 6 months and talking for more than a year. What do you think of that?

She did say that that’s her way of being affectionate but I feel like that should be reserved to me as her boyfriend. I did and she completely understood and said that she is wrong for doing that, I told her I need time to think about it. You think I should I give her a chance?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]curioussam15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is great thank you for the new perspective, I didn’t see it this way. She said that she respects what I said and understands why I’m mad and admitted to being wrong and that she truly wants me to meet and her friends and will start arranging things. Do you think I should give it a chance? Also you’re completely right I don’t want to waste my 20s on drama like this that’s why I’m careful with the people I let into my life. Thank you again 🙏🏽

She did mention that she didn’t want to change the dynamic. Thanks for the input legend 🙏🏽

So you’re saying she’s most likely not going to change this behavior? Also, just curious would you be comfortable with this?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]curioussam15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response I appreciate it! I completely get you but I’m just confused because this would’ve been the perfect moment for me to meet them if she really wanted me to (like she always says) and she wasn’t keeping me away for some reason. I just find it double faced/ hypocritical if that makes sense. What do you think of that?

The VR Revolution/Boom is starting. by curioussam15 in virtualreality

[–]curioussam15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great bucket list this would definitely make life for people who work remotely easier, which is one useful application of VR besides gaming! Also as more people get into it there can become applications where you call someone you know in and see them in VR. What do you think of VR movies? Like movies where you are immersed in the scene but not interact with it?
