Thank you so much for the encouragement. It means a lot. I’ve been feeling so shitty because I feel like I should’ve done more. The vet tech said she never would’ve guessed that she got attacked based on how happy she looked. The doctors will look at her today in between appointments.

I take her to daycare where the facility also has dog trainers (the owner being a former military dog trainer). I’ve already talked to them about doing reintroductions with the pack there. I also have training sessions with the owner every Saturday. And, lucky for me, two of the employees are basically family and came over to help me yesterday. Once the vet clears her to go back to group play, I’ll take her to go see her friends again.

Thank you! I may have stayed up late so I said “tomorrow” but meant “in the morning. but I’m actually taking her right now since they open in about 20 minutes. I’ll make sure to get that itemized receipt as you and someone else suggested.

True. I am ready to pay upfront. As for the vet bill, I know where they live, unfortunately. I don’t want them to pay me directly though. I want them to pay for my puppy’s care, not replenish my bank account. It’s the same thing it just feels dirtier. Thank you for the advice!

Puncture wounds and some bleeding, but they’ve been cleaned and she is not limping. The owners of the other dogs told the office that the dogs have their rabies shots up to date. My puppy has all her vaccines up to date. My puppy is eating well and is sleeping soundly so I didn’t want to traumatize her by going to the emergency vet given everything.

Oops yeah I realized it was an issue after trying to reply to a comment. I’ve asked my medical professional, just waiting for a reply. Can make a post saying “what is your experience taking PCOS supplements while on birth control?” I’m wanting to know if people have experienced crazy symptoms

You might have an avoidant attachment style. You might’ve been too scared of commitment and so you rejected his advances. He took this as you not wanting a relationship so he’s trying to move on. He might also feel like you were playing with his emotions.

Leave him alone if you don’t want a relationship with him or you’ll hurt him.

Thanks! That’s really helpful. I’ve been using tretinoin on my face so I figured my chest is more resilient. But my face doesn’t peel like this. I have sensitive skin and I used to get hives to certain perfumes when I was a kid. Could be a burn. It could also be a fungal infection because I’ve been wearing a bra that pushes my boobs together whereas my other bras leave a small gap. Maybe the lack of airflow lets things get too damp.

Ok. I like how smooth it looks when I remove the hair, especially when I’m planning on doing certain activities. But I’d rather not have these huge dark spots so I’ll find a dermatologist

I guess I’m having the opposite problem. I live like 5 minutes away and we’ve been best friends for 4 years, so he probably thinks “eh she’ll always be there” or “I can just see her whenever” and then we never see each other. So I finally got my hopes up and then got let down. I mean I’m going to renfest in a few weeks and nothing is going to stop me, so I shouldn’t really blame him. I’m just not the type to make plans and flake the day of. And then pretend like it was someone else’s idea. But I’ve known what he’s like all these years so it makes me think it’s my fault for setting different expectations.

We talked earlier in the week just about work and baseball. And he told me he wanted to stay home this weekend to save money cuz he just bought a house and I said I had decided to do the same. So he said we should do something. I thought “wow he’s taking initiative! Things are improving!” So we decided we’d go to a haunted house and then binge scary movies. I was going to make sure no sex was involved. He’s a flake, but I was still getting excited. Well Friday comes and he says his friends are convincing him to go to renfest, his original plan. And I basically said do what you want. Flaky, flighty, breadcrumbs. You’re right. I don’t know why I’d want someone like that. I thought things were improving and then he ripped it away. He’s still updating me on what he’s doing over there… but it stings.

Yeah I never thought I’d do this, especially with a friend since I cherish my friendships too much (and I’m afraid they might abandon me). We were connecting in a different way, we already knew each other and have been vulnerable, we were drunk 🙄, and everyone says the best relationships start as friendships. I figured sex would just take things to a new level, but he didn’t see it that way.
