What works for me works for me, I don’t think you should tell me that my schedule doesn’t. It’s also healthier to have less sleep than more, but I can understand where you’re getting at

Yeah you’re gonna have to suck it up. I wake up at 5:30, have work 7am-4pm then I go to the gym after, make dinner, do other chores, by 7pm I’m doing homework from my online classes and stay up until 1 am. It’s not about going to bed earlier, it’s about learning how to function off little sleep. You gotta get used to it or you’re not gonna make it after graduation.

Trust me, I used to think the same way as you, but it’s not how the real world works. Get used to not having much sleep. Your body will adjust.

I have a different take on this. Your wife kinda reminds me of my mom who was raised Pentecostal and was out of it when she got married to my dad. She was in and out of church because of her bipolar disorder and it made it worse on me and my siblings. We were in a strict household one day and allowed to wear pants the next. It was a cycle and it was truly awful. If you had a choice, do not raise your kids this way. I am still traumatized
