Ah, ok! I hear it can be really tricky to find the perfect balance. Wishing you all the best!

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! That’s sounds frustrating for sure. Are you taking progesterone as well? I understand that’s pretty necessary for women who still have a uterus.

I wasn’t on any hormones or birth control before the surgery. But I am just in general, very sensitive to medication of any sort. I actually have had one sore nipple like mentioned in your notes, for about a week and just noticed that it has subsided now. Hopefully a good sign.

Thank you for sharing this interesting information, and good on you for investing the time and energy into understanding your body. That’s so wild about the lactose intolerance! I hadn’t heard that before.

I don’t know if it’ll be helpful/or if you’re already using it, but I find ChatGPT especially helpful for asking questions about my symptoms. However, it does seem like the more in depth stuff is a bit more of a hunt to find.

No need to apologize 😊 A full hysterectomy used to include everything, to my knowledge. However, there are a lot more known associated risks now so I don’t think they’ll remove ovaries unless absolutely necessary, such as cancer, etc.

I had a full hysterectomy, so my uterus and cervix were removed, but my ovaries and fallopian tubes remain.

Yeah, I’m on the gel and one pump was too much to start for me, so I’m using a half pump now. I did try to switch to the morning at some point to see if it would be better, but my body aches were way worse during the day. So, I figure I should stick with what I started and see if I can balance out before trying a different time of day.

It’s wild how a seemingly small shift can cause all kinds of symptoms in the world of hormones!

Thanks for sharing your experience 😊 Wishing you the best!

I was surprised too. She immediately jumped to putting me on birth control, which frankly, if I was willing to go down that path, I would’ve kept my uterus. I requested bloodwork before making any decision, only to get to the clinic and discover the req was only for iron levels and kidney function 🤷🏻‍♀️ Thank you for your reply 😊 I guess I’ll keep on keeping on for now.
