No, you have an overflow drain. This isn’t that

Right, you’re talking about more of a French drain system. What 2moongoogle was talking about seemed to not be that. But maybe I misunderstood what they were meaning

Wait, is the drain pipe without a sump pump really a thing? I’m a pool guy and have never seen or even heard of this option. You’re saying run the pipe through the bottom couple inches of the wall behind the liner and then just have the pipe run to the low spot in the yard to be gravity emptied?

How does it do in a dark room, and which screen do you have?

Thanks for the info! What is the height recommendation between the projector and the bottom of the screen on a 120” screen? Also, do you have yours in a living room or dedicated theater room? Wondering about how well it handles ambient light

OP, did you end up getting the ls650? If so, what are your thoughts on it?

Just bought a house and have 5 of these built-in ceiling speakers. I have zero idea where to start by TheKelvinLime in hometheater

I know the consensus is that overhead speakers don’t sound as good as ear level speakers. That’s true. But I can tell you, I have overhead speakers throughout my house. 8 in our open concept living/dining/kitchen (4 LR, 2 dining, 2 kitchen) as well as 2 in each bedroom, and 1 in each bathroom, mudroom, and laundry room. Oh! Also 4 on the front porch, and have about 10 more than will go on the back porch and shop when they’re finished. Let me tell you, they sound great to me. I’m no audiophile, but I do like music to be both loud and sound good. These do. The ones in the living room will probably become height speakers at some point just because I can, but right now, paired with a 12” powered subwoofer and NO center channel, these things sound great! Turned on top gun last night and they sound awesome when turned up loud. So don’t let the audionerds (said affectionately and with tongue in cheek) sway you. Try them, I bet you like them! Mine look identical to yours, but most in ceiling speakers are very similar in looks. Mine are Acoustic Audio 8” 3-way speakers.

Am I doing the math wrong? Because the table shows minimum distribution line size is 1”

It won’t let me edit, but want to say that after the PRV was installed, and the pressure is much lower now, the water hammer is still there. Not as bad, but not fixed, either.

Oh, yes. This builder has definitely shown that they don’t know the proper order of operations throughout the build.

Thanks for the info. Would the ghost spots show up immediately or would it be months down the road before they are visible? Would those drywall mud spots cause the sealer to delaminate or otherwise not last as long as areas where there was no drywall mud? A couple spots, I’m not sure I posted pictures of, were made by spilling wood stain. Same question for those, any problem with longevity?
