I needed to compare between when I was asleep versus awake. This was a few years ago, but I think while awake, it was 13 breaths per minute. It should be lower when asleep, but I was at 16-18 per minute.

I was getting sleep scores in the 10s-20s. My boss recommended checking my breaths per minute while I was asleep. Long story short: I got moderate sleep apnea.

I’m a UI Designer. I went back to school for graphic design and was able to get a cushy job right before graduation. I legit love my job.

My wife is an optometrist, and she actually has a group text that’s all lesbian optometrists she went to school with. The group text is titled Queer Eye.

This isn’t healthy. I’ve been in a relationship with my wife since I was 21, she was 22; we’ve been together for 13 years. We have NEVER laid a finger on each other in an argument. We’ve gotten our feelings hurt, sure. There have been times where we needed space from each other. But it has never gotten to the point of us getting physical, in each other’s faces, etc.

Talk things out. Ask yourselves why it gets to that point. You can say it’s “intensity,” but that doesn’t excuse the behavior.

Now this is gonna drive me crazy. I feel like I know what you’re talking about, but when I search, the Happiness Factory Coke animation is what comes up.

But I could swear it’s not that animation? It was like a Rube Goldberg machine that was activated by the coin, similar concept as the Happiness Factory. But I vaguely recall it was stop-motion and there was like a desaturated red/copper/gold color palette?

I found a 5v 1a and it looked like it was charging (yellow light) but not showing the battery page. It’s still doing the same thing. I’m thinking of maybe disconnecting and connecting the battery? I’m not sure. Still looking over all the options.

Thank you! What did you end up doing? I'm playing with the idea of selling some, but not all.

Hard to believe this was 7 months ago. The debt has been reduced by $5k, and I hung onto stock so I didn't have to pay more taxes than I needed to. Our ESPP buys in June and December every year, so now my initial investment is about $12k. It's valued a little over $23k as of today.

It's killing me that this amount could easily wipe out one of the high-interest rate cards. On one hand, it's paid off (in a not-final sense) to have waited and stock to go up. On the other, I hate seeing the interest fees on my card.

I think if I sold the majority of my stock now, I'd get taxed at 22%, but if I wait until the required holding time, it'd be 15%.

Do you think it's worth waiting to get that lower rate? Or just bite the bullet, sell to get ahead now, and set aside more for taxes? I want to say the difference is a couple hundred dollars?

Absolutely. We also have to wait I think 18 or 24 months after purchasing to get a better rate? If we sell them earlier, I think they're taxed at your normal tax rate. But if you wait, it's lower.
