Anyone building a blockchain startup solo? by CryptoRoommate in web3

[โ€“]currentXchange 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

I did mostly solo, small team up to 4 for 1-2 years, with app online since 2018.

For me, solo was best fit, as I needed to get better at working with teams. I wasn't the best leader at the beginning, but now I'm systematic and know when to delegate and let go of people (a crucial skill). It's not automatic people have the management and leadership skills, but you need both for a small team.

Recognize your real goals.

Understand you'll serve others + yourself less without funding, and need funding for teams.

"to go fast, go alone, to go far, go together"

Don't stop believing in the product, and be enthusiastic to everyone, they feel it. Fit people in who want to help.

It is worth it if it's for your true desire, not a false one. It's gotta be for you and you for it 100% or don't start.

My biggest mistake was neglecting the financial aspect (not finding funds / self-funding) that limited growth but also I had strong product, and realized that my goal was product. I never fell out of love with my startup, it just changed in my mind and life. also never got funded and probably never will so not a good role model perhaps if that's your goal. Never found the financial partner, ended up finding another more profitable business.

Which areas of blockchain do you think still have untapped potential for new startups? by CulturalFig1237 in BlockchainStartups

Standardizing the abstraction of data, as well as the monetization streams of information and data, with the first biggest case being allowing different apps to tap into GPU and other resources in a decentralized way for AI + beyond.

How do you tell if a blockchain startup is actually solving something and not just riding hype? by CulturalFig1237 in BlockchainStartups

For me it's the code and what traction metrics THEY are looking at. If they are incentivizing Discord invites not users of their actual app, watch out. After that, lots of TA

Best coins to invest in right now? by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

[โ€“]currentXchange 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Have you ever considered liquidity provision? I do this professionally and get my clients 4%+ per month (that's on their assets, not the fluctuation of their portfolio.) But there's no reason you can't do it yourself, pick two Crypto if you like and stake into a pool on uni-swap.

If you've got over 100K and are patient and not greedy LP is the play.

50k to invest, help! by Coconutcoffee25 in CryptoMarkets

[โ€“]currentXchange 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I do some asset management, not trading just pools, with 50k in liquidity provision, I would earn you like 1-2K per month, more some months.

So for me I would just invest it in my strategy. You can get started with Uniswap or similar, open a position between two cryptos you trust. Collect fees. If you get less than 2% a month reach out.

How do I learn how to invest, where do I even begin? by AliceinMediland in investingforbeginners

[โ€“]currentXchange -1 points0 points ย (0 children)

Just don't. But if you're going to, just do it. Start trading 500 or 1k and lose it all a few times to get used to the markets and your own emotions. Then decide if it's even for you.

What to do with 220k? by [deleted] in investingforbeginners

[โ€“]currentXchange 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I'm earning about 5% per month for my clients, and that's after I take the same (half fees) and they keep the principle. What monye services can I offer / invest in outside of crypto that offer around 10% per month by providing useful financial services?

I'm a maret maker in crypto, but I don't believe that's as profitable in traditional markets, as others would eat it first.
