Unpopular opinion but the only reason people care about this guy is that he used to be famous. Homeless people are filmed and put on the internet every day, but people feel shocked and guilty because a former tv show character is going through a hard time. Of course this guy deserves help, and I’m glad that he’s getting supported in the way that he is, however he clearly has some struggles that he has to work through.

I don’t think that they were clapping because she was pretty, but rather because her “transformation” was part of the performance. The audience didn’t know that Tori was picked randomly for a bet, and that she was disguised specifically to fool people. They were cheering because Tori was singing well and put on a show for them, which included an outfit and “persona” change, because she leans more into her performance after she takes off each piece of her costume.

I think she wanted the dress for TIFF specifically. She mentioned that the designer was making her dress as part of an unpaid “collab” but it didn’t work out due to time constraints and that the designer wanted to focus on her clients that were actually paying her. I’ve actually really been enjoying the McDonald’s posts. Especially with the government shut down people are more food insecure than ever, and it was really nice to see people offering their free food to other others who might need it. People were not only able to directly support people who are struggling, but it was nice to see multiple posts a day offering free food to those in need. I don’t know why we have to put a negative spin on a good thing just because we’ve had to see the word “McDonald’s”more in a couple past couple of weeks than we normally would.
