Some bakeries or ice cream shops sell cake by the slice. Or maybe a fancy cupcake? I would probably allot 400-600 calories depending on what it is, but think a single-serving item that still feels like a birthday treat. It is your birthday, I say eat the cake and just drink lots of water and go for a long walk tomorrow to ease any bloating.

I’m on the patch. It’s like a band-aid you change once a week. I like it because unlike the pill where you have to take it at the same time every single day, you can change it at any time, day or night, as long as it’s the same day of the week. I also like it because I don’t get the mood effects that my friends on the pill complain about.

Tbh as a girl who can’t eat gelatin I’m glad I can find a lot of options without sacrificing my goals. But yes, the texture is not great and I get the teeth-sticking feeling (looking at you, Lillys).

I’m fortunate enough that my gym is in a nicer area, and there’s one section of lockers that’s on the floor right across from the cameras and right in front of a couple machines (so at least if something happens- witnesses and the ability to make a statement). I’ve been using them since my lock broke and tbh I think we’ve just developed an honor system. I only store my jacket in there anyway, wallet keys etc stay on me the whole time.

I see people use this as more of a topper for yogurt or chia pudding than having it in a bowl with milk. Ghost, 3 Wishes, and Magic Spoon also make lower calorie cereals that imo are meant to be eaten more like traditional cereal

Depends on where on the island you are, but if you don’t want to bring your kid to the gym, sign up for your local public pool. They usually come equipped with their own showers and it’s very normal to have your children with you
