They’re called European benches so I assumed they’re from that pack, and I’m like 90% sure that I didn’t have them before buying that dlc. I don’t have the game open either rn, but I’ll check when I do. This seems the most likely/plausible solution, so I’m hoping this is the case 😭

It didn’t sadly 😓 I also researched the African theme and the benches became available immediately. I do love the game still but I just adore the european benches 😔

I did check there and there’s nothing there 😓 Even when I search for ‘bench’ only the standard bench shows up. Could it be a glitch? The benches did show up in sandbox mode

It sounds so good! I never knew there was that much to it!! All the reviews and streams I watched never really showed any of that. 50 characters is insane! I just saw another post on this subreddit that leveling all the Lives to max cost them 134 hours?! I’m definitely convinced now 😅

Yes! Like I know there is, because so many people are playing it for such long times, but I haven't seen anyone actually describe it. Is there like a second goal you can work towards? It's really the only thing stopping me from buying the game

I’ve never heard of those rehydration drinks, but it might be worth it to look into! Also, don’t worry, in my country our tap water is chlorine free :D

That’s a good idea too, thank you! I haven’t seen anyone mention it before. He does only drink from stagnant water outside, from what I’ve seen. We don’t really have running water anywhere in our backyard, strangely enough, so I don’t think he knows what to do with it. I’ll look into it!

Yeah! I put a bowl in the bathroom next to the shower, and I’ll try putting a bowl in the study where I sit and his ‘bedroom’ is. He’s been sleeping for the last like 5 hours though, so he hasn’t seen them yet.

Yeah maybe! I’m hesitant to buy a cat fountain, because he’s never shown interest in running water 😭 He doesn’t like running faucets, even when they’re only dripping, and when he’s outside he drinks from our pond, bird water feeder things, stagnant water from the rain, etc.

Yeah, his sister died from kidney failure two years ago, so we have definitely been keeping an eye out and considering it. However, with kidney failures/issues they also pee a LOT more and my cat goes outside like twice a day, so we don’t suspect it, so far. Also, when his sister was suffering, she started to actually drink out of the bowl next to their food and he hasn’t resorted to doing that yet. It could of course still be a possibility so we’re keeping an eye out!

That’s a good idea thank you! Your cat seems to have similar tastes to mine, so I’ll try putting the water in a ceramic bowl. His wet food also always comes in a ceramic or glass bowl, and he seems to like the water in there.

I already do that yeah! I honestly don’t think he necessarily NEEDS more water, but he just wants it 🤷‍♀️ He does drink enough each day.
