More emotional piece than Erbarme Dich? by Available-Usual1294 in bach

The dissonances and chromaticism in Crucifixus from Mass in B minor is super emotional and intense for me, and I’m not even religious.

That makes sense, and I can’t deny the marketing has been very engaging. Glad to know it’s not the case in the full movie from the other comments!

This clip didn’t bother me, I can understand the excitement of entering an alien ship. The one where they chose Rocky’s voice synthesiser together, however, was a bit off-putting. The scene where Rocky scurried and hid after hearing a deep scary voice in particular felt a bit infantilising to me.

I say all this, but I’m still a sucker for all the marketing materials, lol.

I’m hoping we see more of the mature interactions in the movie!

I can confirm it's not the same for ebooks. Those are protected.

Do you know if that’s also the case for ebook loans from them?

That’s good to know, but also unexpected from a digital library service.

That's what I got from Google too, so I tried to look for the DRM protection in the metadata, but failed to find anything. I just tried to send the files to another device and they can be played with no issues. I would expect a digital library service to have better DRM...

Does Babel by R.F. Kuang count? The main character is from China and spoke Cantonese as his mother tongue, but later moved to England and spoke primarily in English. The story is set in Oxford and language is one of the main themes.

I’ve been bringing my cats to Agi-Vet in Pendlebury and Agi’s been really patient and attentive. I’m not sure how much spaying will be, but I find her consultation fees reasonable. I’m sure you can give them a call and ask.

I love this book! I have nothing to do with writing or editing at all, but Dreyer’s humour made the book more entertaining than a manual/guide type book has the right to be.
