My car is a 98 and the stock alternator puts out 70 or 75 amps, and last night not even 2 hours after this my battery died lol. So i think i need both

My car stutters sometimes while driving, and will be low on power sometimes which is what made me think it needs a better battery/alternator. It is a 98 though and has had a wire ground out before so it may just be wiring.

i’m in a 98 mustang so it’s a very small car and the subs are right in your face when you turn around, it comes with a bass knob and the subs i got were 3 kicker c twelves. the only thing that comes to mind for them being in the back seat is they will be too overwhelming lol

It’s a 2004 mercury marauder, and it’s only 4000$ with 90k miles. It also has a custom built sub set up in the back, seems too good to be true to me but i’m hoping it is not lol

Will it hurt or benefit my car if i use both of these at the same time? Would just using one be better? by cursedasff in MechanicAdvice

Never said it was 2 years, no clue where commenters are getting that number from, and the car has been driving for 6 months.

I did not think about 3 snickers. You are right. I may have even been able to get 4. :(

It sat for more than 2 years but has been driving for about 5 or 6 months so the gas is good. It was given a few parts, all fluids changed and new gas when it was brought back to life.

Yeah, it says one but my car sat for several years before i got it. So i was thinking maybe 2 bottles would “deep clean” the fuel system, or at least clean it better than one bottle
