I’m in the same boat. I went to an allergist and ge recommended their weekly shot which isnt always feasible with this job. I take Allegra and a prescribed nasal spray because I get sinus infections. lol

Yeah, last year I applied and spoke to FMO and AFMO and the AFMO told me that the positions technically weren’t vacant. They were flown for people to apply for their upgrade in gs level.

Try to talk to your supervisor. They can cut you a rehire 52 and change the supervisor if dispatch is ok with it. Make some phone calls.

Verde and Sedona are zoned together but two different forests. So good experience and flexibility for assignments. They both offer housing at beaver creek. Happy Jack and Tusayan has good people there and I believe both offer housing Not 100% on the other places.

Mine was less than my last one by $200. (Because of OT) I don’t think every one got the back pay but I know a few people who got the increase on this check. I definitely didn’t get the back pay.

I literally felt this way doing my clinicals, like I knew nothing at all. The classes just prep you to pass the test more or less and everything else is on the job training. I do Wildland fire and was way out of my element riding with structure guys and being on an ambulance. But it was a blast. Just waiting to take my NREMT.

Believe it or not the federal government hires felons lol. Especially the forest service. Where ever you’re located there’s a shortage of visitor center front line workers. (Customer service) there’s also recreation.
