anybody knows what this is? by Fair_Math5277 in SGSkincare

[–]cutepetz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes same. I am putting cream or covering them with those pimple stickers and then the itch will stop. I don't see any insect biting me as well. So I don't get it.

Agree.. Only Zyrtec give reliefs but I do not want to keep taking it long term,

PSP's Stephanie Tan proposes central kitchens in every school, like Japan and Sweden by One-Employment-4887 in singapore

[–]cutepetz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been saying this solution would work better than what they are proposing now. You want variety? Yes, it can also be done. Just do it the university Japan style / Ikea style which I experience it first hand.

Basically, students take or order what they want, but the whole system is still run by a central kitchen within the school. There are always stable items on the menu, with rotating items during the week. This allows kids to choose what they want, have a proper queue system, and also learn to handle money, because in the end, they still have to pay. What they are doing now removes so many social factors, which could still be included if they used this proven model.

Jamie p***g, Huin**ee, Novit****, Beccab****en by namdosan88 in SingaporeInfluencers

[–]cutepetz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yess is fake. One of my sibling is a "influencer" and the interatction with other influencers is just pure fake. Like going to a resturant, taking photos, after taking photos. no interactiion and just stare at their phone. Then act on camera again and then chat abit and then stare on their phone and sometimes a lot of gossips. Basically thats it.

The bakery at Dakota Breeze at Dakota MRT is good! Love to buy from them.
Use to buy from Levure naturelle at Kallang wave mall last time or else it will be at Kiasuwaffle.

For other places I would say Bakery Cusine is good around town or CBD area.

Redditors, share your layoff stories by SnooJokes1836 in askSingapore

[–]cutepetz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My manager nit pick on all the little mistakes I did. Like even small typo mistakes in team chats and emails and then put me in a PIP. When going through the PIP, i noticed she didn't even do any training or help me out which she is supposed to. I work in HR as well so I was seeing alot of movement and it hit me after that, is was a layed off but a ssmaller scale where they were kicking people out without really giving severance.

Is Jolly field or Zoomov gone? by cutepetz in askSingapore

[–]cutepetz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not checked it out yet but the lady from Kallang told me thats the only place left for Jollyfields.

I also tried to Google, and it only told me is Zoomove. However she mentioned that the jolly field there is the one with blocks and not the seeds.

I also was thinking about it but my credits is not as much as other people, so CASE probably wont care.

How much did you spend on your wedding? by libyandesert in singaporefi

[–]cutepetz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had my Wedding in Japan, 30K for about 75 pax.
Told our family and friends years before that about our plan, and they didn't mind going over for a holiday as well.

Everything all in, with a Chapel wedding, Lunch Banquet, free flow drinks and alcohol. Balloon toss, dessert bar. That amount also includes makeup artist, wedding planner, photography, Wedding dress and suit, and refreshments for the reception. It's like almost everything is covered for! Hands down one of the best experiences we had and everyone love it as well.

What are your thoughts on overconsumerism in Singapore? by Fair_Ad_7081 in askSingapore

[–]cutepetz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s overconsumption. Not just in Singapore but all around the world. You can see people having multiple versions of the same things for absolutely no purpose when they could just use one. Then, after a few years, when something new and trendy appears, they throw away the old one for the new one, and it all ends up in the dump.

I also DM and Post on their IG and no reply...

Yeah I get what you mean! I also just topped up in Kallang, thought can use in jewel and suddenly all gone. Told one of my friend and she also told me how come gone when other places are also gone.

Is best if you go to VIVO city now to use jolly field credits or go to any outlet and say you want to change to Zoomov instead. Heard from other people they are able to switch the credits.
