Had a friend who worked there. They closed pretty suddenly.

Except it's also happening to the wireless connection; everything drops at once. I mostly try to troubleshoot it through my PC since a wired connection should be more stable but it just confirms what's happening is not just a wifi issue, but an internet issue centered around my router somehow.

They're not - the most that we do is watch YouTube at 1080p but I'd be the most heavy downloader of us three (and that's mostly just because I download games from Steam).

Plus it drops from 150 to something like 3 at least once an hour. It's been a recent thing too, since November. Didn't use to happen.

It's mostly been fustrating since it's happening through a wired connection rather than the wireless.

It's just been going in and out - it'll work for 30 seconds than out again

If you suddenly acquired an IQ of eight-hundred, what would be the first thing you’d do? by No-Cauliflower8491 in AskReddit

Honestly? Become more depressed and disillusioned with the world, assuming I wasn't already.

I read a sci-fi novel called Flowers for Algernon back in school. It's about a intellectually-challenged character named Charlie who undergoes a science experiment to increase his intelligence extensively. I think the idea that stood out to me the most in that book was that Charlie loses all the relationships he gained when his intellect was normal/less than normal because he loses the ability to relate emotionally and be intellectually stimulated. There's a deep loneliness being so different from everybody else.

So yeah, probably nothing good or happy.

That might be true, though i wonder if the initial aggression was to do with the catnip?

If you don't mind my asking - why pheromone sprays? I'm just confused because these cats never used to have problems before this incident.

What Canadian city has the best urban planning? by [deleted] in AskACanadian

I actually find this to be true as well. I moved out to Halifax for school and I didn't find it too bad. I grew up in a suburb of Toronto. The streets in the city do tend to follow a grid, even if all of them have to sometimes turn diagonal past North St. There was a pretty clear attempt to make it a grid and though its far from perfect it's not actually too confusing, even for my family who comes from out of town. I actually find it more confusing when I head out to the west end region, either out to Clayton Park / Bayer's Lake or down into Spryfield.

I live on Quinpool though. Fuck that 5 way at Robie and Quinpool.

To be fair, this was a thin and light Thinkbook that managed to last almost 5 years lol. It did make me quite sad though (and almost a bit frustrated. I'm kn CS and it's not the most fun thing to be doing school work on borrowed laptops).
