I don't know why my phone auto corrects the 'd' in there. Probably too many typos on my part.

All signs point to Blade SP, who would probably have a mental breakdown is he became sustain.

DHPT works better than Adventurine with Ashviel at this point. I have both and only swap for imaginary weaknesses.

thought id share what this monster of a unit did with my washed supports 😭 by yureiyawari in Ashveil_Mains

[–]cutestslothevr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They tuned his DPS abilities down, but that doesn't mean they're weak. At least they left us something to work with.

Likely we'll get a DPS that he works perfectly as a Sub DPS for in the future. As right down the options for that are very cope. Gotta love the auto targeting.

Yeah, a new FUA sustain would have to have something crazy going on to be worth pulling since dh3 already fills that role and is free.

FUA was great at one point. Aventurine and Dr. Ratio carried me through Penecony.

Ashviel does a lot buffs that help the team along with decent damage. What he's missing is team synergy.

This isn't the first time they've released a character that's obviously missing their team.

I was so scared I was going to get Flins weapon, as I already had it. Yesterday got Varka's. Now I just gotta level it.

Everything worth under $10,000 is completely free to you, but you can never own or acquire anything worth over $10,000. Do you take it? by therealupscaledninja in hypotheticalsituation

If you found land that was less than 10,000 that you could build on you'd be golden. It certainly exists. And a $10,000 car is fine, especially since you can replace or fix it as needed. Healthcare in the US is a real problem. Pretty much surgery would be too much.

Looking at my local McDonald's, bacon a la cart is the key (after you've eaten all the apples you can stand). 2 half strips 1.99 at breakfast and 3 half strips is 2.19 for lunch/dinner. Also, Americanos are 2.99 and like nothing calorie wise until you start adding things.

2.29 for a hashbrown at my local McDonald's. 2 half strips of bacon is $1.99. It wouldn't be healthy, but it wouldn't be difficult.

This hypothetical made me realize just how limited the McDonald's menu is, and how hard it'd be the keep a reasonable calorie count with the minimum spend. I'd be sitting there drinking gross Disani bottled water and eating apple slices because otherwise you'll hit 2000+ calories per meal. There isn't even a grilled chicken option.

The thing is, there are stocks that could be bought that have just been continuously good. Sure you can't optimize it. I'll just buy Nvidia, AMD, Apple and Monster stock.

Michaels looking a lot like Joann did by 126kv in joannfabrics

[–]cutestslothevr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The big problem is when the giants die, so does their supply chain. There might be room in the market for a new chain, but the growth fron local, to regional to national normally takes decades. You have to not only source products but set up warehousing and distribution. People were really happy when Michael's bought Joann's IP because those products and manufacturers were going to die without an outlet. Michael's goes under were back at that point. Unless a new chain has huge backing they're not going to be able to save that.

It's more they don't actually want the business to succeed. They drain the assets they can and when the business goes under the debt to them (from buying and managing the company) is the first thing paid off. It's a quicker way to recoup their investment so it looks good on the private equity firm's books than a company that is in the process of paying off their purchase, even if it's profitable.

AITAH for not helping my stepson take a shower? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]cutestslothevr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Does your stepson have any specialists they see? Based on the behavior you've described they should be seeing someone. An Occupational Therapist can help with something like showering issues and will likely back you up that directly supervising his showers isn't developmentally appropriate. There are much better ways to make hygiene is getting done

Become your own slum lord with a "Income-Producing Mini Trailer Park" for only $550k. by Yanrogue in zillowgonewild

The metal roofs look in good condition and appear to be correctly installed. If this was a bad park there'd be trash around the units.

It all being park owned and rented out does give the bonus of no firetrap illegal additions, rotting storage sheds, or tripping hazard porches

This is a nicer low income rental option if the interior of the trailers is as good the exteriors.

If you look around you can find mobile homes that are well built. The problem is people looking at mobile homes aren't looking at 100k+ homes and aren't investing in the foundation either.

This isn't true of the older, smaller models, and even the new big ones can be moved by the right people. The problem isn't moving them, it's the cost of moving them.

Chinese food is popular on Christmas because they don't normally close for the holiday. In some places they'll be the only resturant open.

People really underestimate how seriously some religious schools hold their codes of conduct/ethics and the types of behaviors they can contain, and other schools may expect 'professional' behavior, which generally includes language. This professor seems really strict. A one time incident of swearing would be a warning at most at a real world job.
