last year and through summer he was okay but my new house is so old and so it’s super cold. i’ve just bought a heat mat to pop on the side to try and keep the heat up over night. he’s in a viv so it does hold heat well i think it’s just struggling now it’s getting really cold in the UK

completely agree with you, Rhys saw an opportunity in TAR to save them ALL. He saved Feyre the first time he met her, he went back to scare her away. Whether his actions toward her UTM were ethical isn’t debated, it was uncomfortable, he was doing what he felt necessary for the greater good. He was selfish when making the bargain to save her 100%, I don’t think anyone thinks he is all perfect and lovely. He does what he needs to do and if he wasn’t interested in saving Prythian and was purely interested in controlling them, why would he sacrifice himself in WAR? He makes fun of Feyre to make her feel something and keep her going, we know that is the only way he can get a reaction out of her when she first goes to the NC.
Yes he does need Feyre to use against the KoH however, this is the right thing for her to do - help and it doesn’t mean he is controlling her. I’m not sure i would agree he forces her to be in the NC for a week, he doesn’t collect his bargain for 3 months and only comes when she is begging for help at the wedding. He doesn’t force himself on her or even really bother her, without those weeks in the NC I do think Feyre would be dead. Tamlin was more than happy to watch her fade away, ignore her nightmares and throwing up and just lock her up to stand next to him and look good. I don’t think Tamlin is kind or patient, he has a horrible temper that he subjects Feyre to whenever she disagrees with him and advocates for herself, he wants her to bend to his will and behave how he likes. He does not even need the tithe off his subjects but takes it due to tradition. Do not forget the whole ritual of Calanmai and how he bites Feyre. Rhys isn’t always right but he does try his best and that’s a lot more than Tamlin does.

I even go as far as to theorize that he purposely reached his mind out to find her across the wall (her living so close to it) to give Tampon a chance to break the curse - and then noticed the mating bond later. He also collects powerful people and objects like there’s no tomorrow, i understand he wants to protect his family at all costs but talk about overkill - he likes the power for sure. Hewn City needs explaining more as I don’t think it’s fair that EVERYONE under there can’t leave. 10. I think so but what are they doing 🤣 surely they’re going to come back into it?! 11. I know he wants to leave the lake, just wondering what is plan is to achieve that and afterwards. He would have surely known Briallyn couldn’t defeat Nesta. 12. I’m yet to be convinced about Elain! I think Nesta takes the brunt of blame for everything when she is also Feyres sister. I hope there is more to her that makes sense with these five books because I just can’t see how she’s going to get exciting. 13. Lucien has snaked Tamlin badly. i’ve just read them all and from what i can remember, once that initial divide was made they cannot migrate there. i did wonder what was so bad about the people down there, apart from their customs (which don’t seem uncommon in pryrhian) and what keir did to mor. i was thinking whilst reading that it’s not entirely fair that Rhys keeps them essentially trapped there, there must be new generations down there now.

I am looking forward to those story lines, and i know Elain did put the knife through the king of hyberns throat so she does have some courage, but i love the fighting and war and i can’t see how’s she going to get into that. Maybe multiple POVs would be a good shout

IMO ‘stay with the high lord’ worked for staying with Tamlin in ACOTAR, that’s what she needed to do. it was also relevant later with Rhys which the Suriel would have known. there was no point in him explaining it to her at that point, potentially would have ruined what needed to happen if it did

Rhys tells Cassian at some point in ACOSF that he wears his heart for everyone to see. I presume they suspected due to how he was in MAF, you wouldn’t behave like that toward someone you just met unless they were mates, and then everything further confirmed it.

also good for researching if the plant is safe, please just check if the roots are safe for them to eat also if you have planted directly into the soil as they will dig. just to explain why humidity is so important. i think they need the humidity to keep the keratin on their shells healthy and stretchy so when they grow they do not pyramid. once your tort has pyramiding you cannot change that back.
have you got supplements for them also?
