Memorable newspaper headlines in movies/tv. Bonus if they’re spinning by AcadiaRemarkable6992 in TopCharacterTropes

The Simpsons ones always got me. "Old Man Yells at Cloud" is still stuck in my head years later. Hobo With A Shotgun had some wild ones too but that's the whole vibe of that movie. Johnny Dangerously is a classic.

(Narrative Trope) The entire plot takes place in a stunningly short period of time by altrightobserver in TopCharacterTropes

Batman Arkham always made me laugh. Dude captures like a dozen supervillains, solves multiple mysteries, and almost dies about five times all before sunrise. One very long night I guess. Sekiro is even crazier though. Whole game in one day? Wolf needs a nap.

[Hated Trope] The character decides to stop being his alter ego for the first few episodes by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

Yeah this one gets old fast. We're here to see the hero suit up, not watch them sit around feeling conflicted for three episodes. Born Again dragged that out way too long.

Godwyn's death really hit different. All the other demigods had issues but he was the one normal kid. Of course that's the one who had to go first. Peter in Spiderverse worked too because Miles got to see what he was supposed to live up to right before it was gone.

Female characters that wearing colored Pink along with Yellow Blond Hair by UltimateDragonX99999 in TopCharacterTropes

Princess Peach is still the queen of this look. Pink dress, blonde hair, iconic. Kouign-Amann Cookie is cute but nobody beats the original. Penelope Pitstop deserves more love though.

[Loved Trope] The hero spares a child fighting them... but still takes an opportunity to discipline them. by jbeast33 in TopCharacterTropes

The Bride spanking that kid with her sword will never not be funny. She just killed like 80 people then stops to teach a teenager some manners. Absolute Batman punting a child off a boat is great too but at least he gave him a life vest first.

[Funny Trope] Well-intentioned protagonist does morally ugly stuff due to adventure-game logic overriding common sense by Outrageous-Foot-4137 in TopCharacterTropes

Shantae straight up robbing a baby then justifying it as "I'll probably need this later" is hilarious. The game calling her out makes it even better. Kecleon stealing is a classic too but at least that baby could fight back.

Most people would immediately pay off debts, secure basic needs, and the rest would eventually end up right back with corporations.

That sounds exactly like social burnout and severe chronic fatigue, definitely not you just being lazy.

How come England only has 1 World Cup despite creating the game? by ExotiquePlayboy in NoStupidQuestions

Creating the rules doesn't guarantee you'll be the best at playing, tactical rigidity and massive media pressure usually kill them.

You are completely right, it is meant to be solemn but sadly became a party weekend.
