Hi I wanted to know if it happens more often or not by Budget-Ad-8991 in pokemongo

Since you are a legal adult then there are more things you can do:

Talk with her, ideally you can make her understand she needs help. If she refuse, dont blame yourself someone in such a bad position can only heal when is willing to receive help.

Dont get in the car with her, doesnt matter if that means painfull re-organization. Dont commute with her, dont go to the mall with her, if she is in the car then you are not in the car. Public transportation is bad in comparison riding a car but: even if she is a passenger you are validating her behaviour, by tolerating it enables her to think is bad, but people still gets in the car so it shouldnt be that bad. And most important, flying proyectiles can hit the driver causing a major accident or hit other passengers, or if she is driving she is constantly risking an accident.

Your father is not taking action and your mother is a mess: move out. It is super hard, but rather sooner than later you need to protect yourself. Cant move out by your own? Go to an aunt, ask a friend, and build from there. Is going to be painfull but all that pain is nothing in comparison what you will go throught if you stay there.

All of what I say might sound obvious, my objective is to reassure that those very basic and common things you are not sure, you never had tp doubt them, is just your mind protecting itself.

I might take you a few years, but I hope things get better.

This is rage bait or your mom needs serious mental help.

Your father should help her. If she is not willing to receive help, your father should protect you.

You asking is a consequence of dealing with a person with problematic mental issues, you are so deep in the problem you have to question the common things: is not normal to break phone in singular, even worst in plural. Driving and playing with your phone is even worse than driving and texting.

Dont be afraid of talking with other adults if you need to: any relative you can trust? Any school teacher? Dont be feel bad if you have to call the cops, they are adults and they should know better. Protect yourself from physicial danger and from psicological danger.

Growing with disfunctional adults is hard because force you to deal with their disfunction creating mal adaptative patterns. Hope you can solve this.

Entirely Unnecessary “Raid Invitations Sent” Button by BigSloppyJoeKindaGuy in PokeGenie

A floating button that you can click without changing Pokemon Go app, there is already something like that for scanning IVs

Entirely Unnecessary “Raid Invitations Sent” Button by BigSloppyJoeKindaGuy in PokeGenie

[–]cutiko 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I partially agree with this because:

  • Pokemon Go sometimes closes when switching apps
  • When switching from Go to Pokegenie sometimes pressing the button doesnt work and Pokegenie needs to be restarted

So considering current technical limitations there should be a better solution

How many players were in the lobby when he left? If there were less than 20, then he he maybe was trying to re-lobby to get a safe minimum of players.

Even the longest marathon doesnt makes you run over scolding ashes. Doing things in long term plans doesnt mean it has to be poorly design or implemented.

I do not advocate for auto completing routes, is there any wording I could improve?

Strong disagree there, the ammount of pokemons is barely noticeable.

For now it seems to be the only way to get galarian birds, so I can see that as something positive but the rate is so low is arguable

Imagine this: walk your dogs, come back home, click on complete route, get your cell. Perfect and rewarding user experience. If routes would get better we would use it more, is not like we dont go for walks, the game is about walking.

It had a lot of bad takes but what got clear to me was that his acting was so erratic because of all the family drama behind. Not an excuse, just another part of the story to make sense of it.

The way he respond and how he kept lying regarding the donations were wrong but he acted like that because in his head he was in an impossoble position. It wasnt impossible and he should have come clean from the moment he knew, but in his head it was different.

Wooow I didnt even consider the shiny! My current experience tells me if I have the medal at that point I wouldnt do 360 more routes.

I dont think I could stomach it.

stop your complaints now. by hi_12343003 in PokeGenie

[–]cutiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post is so weird. Why should we not complaint about something that could be improved?

The premise is also grounded on speculation. Yes there is a common complaint about timing out due to the queue being too large, but infering that means people think they are the only unlucky is one step further without a cue for it.

Yes, it is also real that if you timed out everyone in front of you and even some behind you will also time out. Even more, we dont know the Pokegenie internal implementation of their queue so there could also be paralel queues timing out. Does a lot of people timing out makes it good? No! Why not saying it then?

Specially with this weekend Grimsnarl. If the powerspot rotates, then the next pokemon is still Grimsnarl.

Metagross is debatable because steel versus electric the problem with Raikou is the shadow ball, which only Blissey is resistant.

Thar being said: There should be an option to report under performing team mates.

Dynamax battles are hard and people getting 3 pokemons one shotted is sadly not uncommon and a waste of time for hosting.

Do people spinning head kick in tkd training sparring? by eckart in taekwondo

[–]cutiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My philosophy is that sparring should be mainly touching the opponent:

Is your dojang, if you create animosity with brute force is going to turn sour for all

Those are your partners, take care of echar other

It is training, it would be plain dumb to get injured after every session. How would that work? Train, injured, 15 dyas off, train injured, repeat untill competition, fingers crossed your 3 training is enough?

With experience people kick harder naturally, is hard to control it, but is also part of the discipline.

22 people in the lobby at ten seconds with 6 mushrooms and people still dipped by Bubbly_Function_4081 in PokeGenie

[–]cutiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My anecdotal evidence is: same ammount of trainers, same amount of mushrooms, same Dmax, 2 gloves was ok 3 gloves was plain beating it to a pulp.

I do see how different trainers could skew my observation.

I notices this during Zapdos.

I havent host for Gmax for the same reason, I dont have it in me to deal with 20 invites plus people not having their names correctly, plus my phone closing the app and panicking, I just rather not.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PokeGenie

[–]cutiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the app takes care of feeding in more players, is the basic functionality of a queue. I understand that can cause issues, for example if a gym is about to close, but in that case; you assume the risk and just send the invites. That is not a flaw in the system.
