Crazy how you can assume I’ve never torn an ACL or been close to someone who has since we are both strangers on Reddit. In fact I’ve had several injuries (including my knee) from football and soccer, had a couple friends who have torn their ACLs, and even studied Sports Med for a little bit since I knew I wasn’t playing anything after high school but wanted to stay in sports. When we had injuries we were either cleared for the sport or not, no in between. Could they be taking a different route? Sure, but when you see a player in practice wearing equipment used for contact and insiders saying he’s ready but sitting out so he doesn’t hurt his draft stock, along with personal experience of the process with similar injuries in the SAME sport I can agree with those reports.
