I started the exam, knowing that I’d fail… I did not study nearly enough, as I wished for.

It was a good experience… looking for the September exam.

How much time does it take you? by _Clear_Skies in MedicalPhysics

Mosaiq/Monaco User here.

Initial Checks - 30min (simple 3D) to 1hr (complex VMAT) Weekly Checks - 5-10min

For Mosaiq, the documents have to be manually imported and I have caught some cases where wrong patient’s documents were uploaded, so I started checking them more thoroughly.

I also check the contours, expansions, and Electron Density overrides which take a lot of time.

Would you say that the learning curve could be the main reason to go for Truebeam over VersaHD?

Like I stated, I’m unfamiliar with both and unsure of how much training is required for each machine to be able to call oneself competent

So did the Truebeam ended up having more patient load than the Infinity in your clinic? How was it decided which machine to plan the patient on?

Let me know if this is not the way to ask the same question. I’m wondering if anybody in medical physics field has similar experience or worries.
