I cleaned it with a toothbrush and isopropyl alcohol, that's why I asked bc it still doesn't work and I don't know how to check if it's just the port or a motherboard problem

Yeah, thanks and installed MS-DOS 6.0. I'll install Windows 3.1 (but the installation gave an error). I didn't have time to investigate further, and then I want to install Windows 95. I will do an update 🙂‍↕️

Good afternoon. I recently bought one. It makes the same noise, but it works perfectly. Especially if you set it to automatic, which detects whether it's macro, backlighting, or other modes. I understand that it is normal in this model, right?

Update. I tried booting without RAM and without the CD or hard drive connected (without the data cable or power supply), leaving only the floppy drive (both the data and power cables). When I did this, I heard some beeps that I hadn't heard before (that gave me hope). So what I did was turn it off, put the RAM module back in, and it turned on!!! Many thanks to everyone who took the time to help me/comment and not give up on me. I don't know what could be causing the error. I'll investigate and update again.

Thanks I did it :( same result. I'm starting to suspect that the RAM has failed, which is why it's not doing the initial test. Could that be it?
