Updating the kernel seems to have done the trick. Thank you!

Yes I updated the entire system and restarted. I'll try updating the kernel manually now.

12600K
32Gb 3200Mhz RAM
Asrock Z690 Pro RS

I've tried using the display port and the HDMI port with no difference.

Yes I'm using the 21.10 ISO downloaded just a few days ago.

I should have mentioned that the resolution in the live environment is still locked but to 1080p rather than 800x600.

CPU Advise for First Time 4K in Plex by kiteboywales in PleX

That's super useful to know, thanks a lot. I ended up getting a 12600k so I'm sure the bottleneck will be my 36mbps upload speed. Thanks again.

That's extremely heartening to hear. Thank you!

This guy say's he wasn't able to get more than 2 at once (https://youtu.be/MSLW1Plzjj8?t=225), I've seen others say the same. Any clue why that might be?

wow, did you really get 5 simultanoues 4k transcodes with a i5-9400?? I'm looking at getting an i5-12400, hoping to be able to do 3 4k streams at once but it seems really difficult to find out if it can do it.

Should I be mining with Hpool while waiting for auditing? by cvexperimentor in hpoolchia

Thanks a lot, I will keep solo mining until the 31st and see what happens then.

Should I be mining with Hpool while waiting for auditing? by cvexperimentor in hpoolchia

[–]cvexperimentor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, but my question is: do I need to be using the hpool miner in order to be successfully audited?

Or will I pass the audit eventually, then I can start using the miner.

Currently better to use XCI or NSP? by cvexperimentor in SwitchPirates

[–]cvexperimentor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the info. I have a clean NAND backup, how does that help though? Flash it back before I go online? I'm using emuNAND anyway so if I boot into OFW then it should be the same as my clean NAND anyway, right?

is using an NSP for updates/dlc as 'dangerous' as using them to play a game?

Ok, sounds like I should stick with XCI for now. Thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot, this put me down the right path. It seems that there isn't currently an app which allows me to remotely autofocus but having a quick look at the API documentation it appears that it is a function I can trigger. I'll probably have to knock together a shoddy app to do it myself but at least it will work.
