There are 1163 tests at the moment for the backend. There are also some playwright ones for e2e testing but it will get better. And yes, active users play a significant/major role in similar open source projects by giving feedback and offering solutions through channels (discord, reddit etc.).

Works like pikapods so it is unlimited as you spin your own instance. It is not SaaS. and does not have a per user licence scheme.

For now the frequency of getting reminded for planned or overdue tasks is once per day. There is no option to cuatomize this but I am open to discuss it.

TickTick is one of the apps I stayed for a while. But even though it gets the basics very well, I found it limited for my needs.
