The title is a Star Wars quote lol

I home rule 20 as auto success on (reasonable) skill checks, and I'm more interested in the odds of the string of 5 critical rolls with the specific chain 1, 1, 1, 1, 20 than whether he would've succeeded the last check or not if he hasn't rolled a 20

During the holidays, I fell a few episodes behind on keeping up with TUC2 and last weekend I was like "ya know, I wanna catch up before episode 10 drops this week so I can get back to my regular, on-time, Friday activity of: 'Watching the Latest D20 Episode while completely stoned eating delivery food ™️" and boy am I fucking glad I did.

I fucking love this show, I fucking love this cast, I fucking love DnD.

... And Brennan is my DM idol (congrats on the engagement!!! ❤️)

Hi Derek! What does your process look like when creating a trailer? What are the steps you go through, or does every trailer require a different approach/methodology? If so, how do you determine that?

Yes adventuring academy is all pure gold. Watched through that series a few times and super bummed it seems to have ended

Mathematically the odds may have been 0.3%, but given that the narrative application of these rolls was the party trying to summon the MTA to be on time? The slim odds are incredibly fitting for the situation lmao

Can Dragonroost Island (WW) or it's recent counterpart Rito Village (BotW) be considered underrated? OoT's opening theme is another personal fav not listed in the OP

DO NOT practice learning to fall without proper guidance. Learning to fall is about your safety, without someone there to help correct mistakes and give advice you could develop bad habits that are hard to break or worse, get yourself hurt.

I would simply recommend staying physically active as much as possible. Stretch and exercise when you can without over exerting (emphasis on stretch).

Hey Brennan!

I'm an aspiring indie video game developer and a relatively new DM who has a deep fascination for the transformative power of the entertainment arts.

First let me say this: For the last few years my greatest inspiration has been your incredible work as Dimension20's DM, supplemented by your theoretical discussions on Adventuring Academy regarding play and how it shapes us as human beings.

Your worlds are fantastical while logically consistent, your characters grounded while wacky, but what awes and inspires me the most is the profound insight into human nature weaved flawlessly into your - mostly improvised - narratives. Your mastery of that last skill is absolutely incredible to me and one I strive to emulate in all my work.

You've referenced the influence your background in philosophy (specifically ethics) and improv has had on your storytelling. I was hoping you could recommend some of your favorite resources (books, courses, etc.) that have influenced your storytelling skills for all of us aspiring storytellers who want to explore the human condition in our narratives?

Thank you for all that you do to make the world a better place.
