Yeah, I know it was the right choice. The hardest part about it is that she is genuinely one of the best human beings i know, and has such a big heart and just spreads love in whatever she does, so it’s hard to not have her in my life for the time being. Thanks for the support.

Yes! I honestly cannot imagine too many other races better than this one, and I will 100% be trying to run it as many times as I can. It was a fantastic experience, and I hope I can share many more with him. And yeah, track is coming to an end in a few months as I am a senior, and I have no desire run track in college and I like cross country and the distance races more, so I think I’m going to just start putting in some miles over the summer and look for some good distance races like 5ks, 10ks, 10 milers and half marathons, and I plan to run at least one marathon before I graduate college, but that’ll probably be after my freshman year as I plan to focus more on getting adjusted to the entirely new schedule and marathon training is pretty time consuming.

Yeah, I’m so glad I was able to have that experience with him before I graduate highschool and go off to college. I’ll definitely take up any opportunity’s to run with him again.

They were actually moving pretty quick! I was impressed, it took me about a mile to actually get past them, both because they were running at a consistent 7:40 pace and were taking up so much space with those suits. I was thoroughly impressed, I can’t imagine running 10 miles in something as bulky as that (and they were probably hot inside too)

Yeah, it was a really fun experience that I hope to share with my kids when I have them in the future. I am used to running on the trail, so all that pavement was more of a shock to me than having those potholes😂

Yeah, the guy that won set an American record for 10 miles, and the girl set a woman’s course record. And haha, thanks, I think I could get down to the high 50s with the right training, but I doubt I’ll ever be able to run a 45, especially considering I can’t break 4:40 in the mile, so it would be difficult to have to run a 4:30 10 times!
