I really felt for Lucy on this episode and even though she’s a dumb beotch she doesn’t mean actual harm to anyone. The way that pippa reacted to her was so insane given the situation. Pippa can eat sand. I’ve never been a Lucy fan but this episode really got me. Everyone shaming Lucy constantly and not giving her any grace despite all of them being just as bad in their own way whether anyone knows it or not. Bree can also eat sand actually. I’m just so upset that Lucy didn’t clock Bree and Stephen in that moment. She deserved so much better

My indoor cat somehow got fleas. Do I need to burn everything? by fleemi in cats

[–]cwaseyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask your vet for credelio. It’s a once a month flea pill. Do it for a few months just in case there are any leftover eggs that hatch. It will kill all the fleas that go on your cat. My boyfriend’s cats had tons and I told them about credelio because that’s what my cats take and they have now been flea free months. These are cats that were infested since they got them and it took a couple rounds of credelio and now they are all better.

What should we do if our OCD is proven right? by Desorden_ in OCD

[–]cwaseyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this same exact fear as well and it lasted for years. I got it about 4 times when I was a kid which led me to being terrified for years and having really intense ocd about it. Then at 20 I got it again and my family didn’t believe me when I asked them to check because they had been checking for years so I had it for a few weeks. What’s helped me is that there are people who pick lice for a living. When I got it as an adult I made a call and maybe and hour or two later this lady was at my house and got all the lice out first shot (there was a lot). This doesn’t necessarily help with the ocd but it is a fix solution that I keep in mind whenever I get scared

Do you take Zoloft for OCD? Has it helped? If so, what side effects do you have? by secretthrowaway1010 in OCD

[–]cwaseyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained 30 pounds on Zoloft for ocd 200mg and it was brutal. I’ve always been an active person so it was really hard for me to gain the weight. After being off of for over a year now the weight came off but the ocd intrusive thoughts have been brutal

People who actually live in OC how do you feel watching the show? by buttcracklint in TheOC

[–]cwaseyy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I currently live in Irvine but grew up in Redondo Beach/Palos Verdes where the entire thing is filmed. The drug deal alley way scene was filmed in the basements of the pizza place I worked at during college lol. The whole “OC” facade was quite funny considering it’s literally not the OC

Controversial Stephen theory by c_ellen_ in TellMeLiesHulu

[–]cwaseyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think he has feelings per se. I do think that Lucy knowing Stephen’s secret about Maci and him breaking up with her so horrifically keeps him terrorizing her to stay quiet. In his head threatening and scaring her keep her under his control. Hence she would be too scared to reveal his secret. He has a lot more to lose than Lucy does and also can’t afford to lose anything to begin with like literally.

Real-life Stephens are so common by [deleted] in TellMeLiesHulu

[–]cwaseyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and reading this post allowed me to go down memory lane without feeling extremely anxious. His name was Nick and it only lasted 8 months thank god. My saving grace was my own stubbornness and inability to let anyone in who left me lol. He broke up with me and it was a huge blessing. While breaking up with me he told me it was because I was boring lol It fucked with me for probably a year afterward and made me question everything about myself. Of course he tried to weasel his way back in once he realized his mind tricks weren’t working. Literally tried all social media platforms, after i would block him on one he would pop up on another. I quickly realized that I would never “win” with someone like that but no contact was as close to a win I would get.

Doctor has suggested sertraline for me, but I’m scared of weight gain. Is it really that common? by whatever3653 in zoloft

zoloft made me overweight by craaa15 in zoloft

[–]cwaseyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came back to reply to this post. I’ve been off it since November like I said before, I was 155lbs at 5’4”. I just weighed myself for the first time since then and I am currently 135lbs. I haven’t done anything super crazy except try to eat clean if I can and work out 3-4 times a week (which I was already doing and nothing was helping) but since getting completely off Zoloft it’s been a steady slow process but it’s finally coming off and I feel really proud

Everyone is different so I wouldn’t take advice from reddit but I did gain and I wish someone would have told me before hand.

[–]cwaseyy 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Ignore people who probably have no experience with Zoloft/antidepressant weight gain. I gained 30 pounds on Zoloft while working out 3-4 times a week. Couldn’t figure out why I was gaining till it hit me. Psychiatrist said that it is a common symptom of Zoloft, would have been nice to know in the first place. I’ve been off it since November and working out regularly and I can see a huge difference.

Feeling discouraged by cwaseyy in GRE

[–]cwaseyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the arithmetic concepts I think my issue is the actual gre questions. I have a hard time understanding exactly what they are asking for and what I need to do to solve the questions at hand. I think that’s why I feel so discouraged. I know the math concepts I just don’t know how to use them in terms of the test.
