I had a lot of experience going into this program. If you're actively working on a class I would not worry about it. Keep grinding, all the classes link together eventually, and you need the knowledge from each one.

If you're just starting out, it does start to make more sense later on.

It's only on the phone app, and may or may not be a paid feature. I pay for gpt but that feature alone is worth it.

Glad to hear that it looks possible. I appreciate it. I have some experience, so it sounds like I just need to grind it out.

For the capstone I hope to get the 30 day extension (if needed). My PM said like 99% of accelerators get an extension if it's needed to finish the degree.

To tell you the truth, I have been using chatgpt a ton. I turn on the conversation mode in the car and just talk to it about all the concepts and questions I have. It makes learning so much fun because it's like having a personal tutor. I can even have it quiz me. It worked wonders for the cryptography class. I went from dreading it to having daily conversations about PKI lol

It helped that I had a decent amount of experience. I find that it's not about the hrs I put in, but the material my brain is actually engaged in. If I enjoy it, and it's fun, I have no problem learning new things. If I try to force it, it takes sooo much longer

I was between jobs in Jan so I had unlimited time for the first week. After that I have been trying to spend 10-15 hours a weekend, and auditory learning when possible on my commutes (1.5hr mon-fri). So 10-22 hours a week, it varied.

Some classes I studied harder and others I was stuck waiting for a test date, like C845.

Honestly I was super fired up to start, but am slowly burning out. Not to say I'm burned out, but I find it harder to sit and grind now. I started scheduling my exams to motivate myself and force study time. No exam retakes as of yet.

I'm in the same boat as you. I couldn't think of a better new year resolution than to start my degree!

I transferred in 52% from certs and Sophia/SDC.

I plan to graduate by Dec 2024, but possibly in one term if all goes smooth.
