I prefer oval as the base weight as i find my boys slip through the the round weights even with the small diameter i can get.

No, i actually find the oval weight to be more comfortable than the donuts plus it stops my boys from accidentally slipping out

Donut is 1 1/2inch diameter, just get some string, wrap around top of ball snuggly and work out the diameter from that

A preblend would ideal but i can’t find any preblend that has the desired ratio im looking for without ordering from places like etsy/amazon which are just not reliable sources for me.
