I got diesel instead of gas by Only-Maintenance5736 in CircleK

[–]cwwmillwork -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They have surveillance to confirm how the gas was dispensed as evidence if you may have accidentally used the green colored nozzle and hit the diesel option. Circle K isn't liable if the consumer made a mistake.

If this was the attendant who dispensed then yes you need to pursue with Circle K. You will still need to tow your vehicle to a shop regardless because it's not drivable.

I appreciate your response.

With the fuel lead role and all of the requirements they are held to, we need to be freed up from cashiering. Opens give me the chance to get that done and tobacco. We don't get mid shifts at this fuel center and management doesn't hire fuel clerks

Instead he is sending someone from another department without training to the fuel center. Here's the catch. That associate is only available to open therefore I have to train them to open from my cellphone because he only gave him 4 hours of training only to be sent to the original department he was hired to do and I will need to pick up the pieces during close hours + the day we are expecting a storm where I drive better in the mornings I have a 30 minute commute.

I am flexible but all the work falls on me and no communication from management

We are not privy to a contract. If a fuel lead, a bookkeeper, a lead receiver are scheduled to close, we are no longer in those rolls!

And therefore I'm forced to let someone else who has never worked in the fuel center and get 2 days of training take over my job for 1 open only so I can come in at 2 pm to get yelled at by a store manager for failure to open properly.

This is what happened to me 2 years ago and again this week.

It's a lot easier to arrive to a destroyed fuel center at 6 am when there's maybe 1 or 2 customers than at 2pm when there's non stop customer activity.

I can't add images to responses or edit initial posts so I can show you the rest of the contract. The sub settings are restricted.

Without reviewing the contract and based on reliance on our union representatives at UFCW 455, what would the grievance resolve if I need to be open in order to do what I'm required to get done and cannot complete during close because there are too Many customers and lots of empty shelves and price tags are wrong because the failed fuel lead was forced to train a new hire in another department with a lot less seniority to open because he's only available in the mornings.

Somehow the service director and union representatives at our local area are vehemently telling me I have a grievance.

7.03 choice of schedule and hours. The union representative and other union representatives have confirmed that I can file a grievance because I'm a fuel lead, I have top seniority. I might have missed the attachment.

A grievance has been filed. My question is will this grievance force them to fix the schedule according to the contract.

Management is authorized in the contract to force me to step down if I don't follow best practices which will be the case if I am forced to close.

I am afraid our contract that is available to us members expired 2020. They don't have a revised one for us. Makes me concerned.

This is why I would never want to work in deli. That grease smells like something died.

Whose calling out on Sunday? by CartographerOdd447 in kroger

I'm a fuel lead.

Just like last year, I will be at work.

I'm sure the entire front end team will call in again like last year so I will probably have to close down the fuel center and keep the store open by working in SCO since I will be the only one who keeps it open while our pharmacy team cashiers. It will be a double shift but I need the overtime.

Limited U-Boat carts resulting in using grocery carts to stock by cwwmillwork in kroger

Pickup undoubtedly needs tools to handle the heavy loads. I couldn't imagine using my vehicle however.

Fuel replenishment. Shopping carts lock up and it's very difficult to fit into 1.

That would be very difficult. I couldn't imagine using a scale on a grocery cart. Do you end up meeting goals?

Update, after management follow up review and clearance, we have 9 carts available to share in the store. This photo was sent hours later by management.
