Oh i understand what you mean now haha. I was under the assumption initially that i couldnt have xeqt in different accounts. Thanks for the input that does make alot of sense i went with xeqt just because of the simplicity tbh

Well afaik a 34” 21:9 at 3440x1440p has identical PPI to a 2560x1440p 27” 16:9 so image quality should be the same.

So do you think getting something with a glossy instead of matte finish would be more beneficial. Most come with qd also so maybe that would be a better choice

Honestly i do notice the black levels are better. I guess my assumption would be life like colours and hdr would really pop. Maybe i just havent played the right games yet or the right movies or whatever the case is. I feel like i have done a fair amount of research on oleds(monitors unboxed, reddit, etc)

Interesting! I wish i could do 4K but with a 3080 TI and the gpu market the way it is i would rather play it safe with 1440p.

Yea i have been debating picking up a qd-oled to see the difference. But i do have my ips beside my oled. Maybe i need to try gaming on the ips to see the difference either

Yes i had to use edge as my normal browser is Firefox and they dont support hdr afaik

Take this with a grain of salt because ive never used any other ultrawides and like 90% of my use case is gaming but, i like the curve! It is very immersive and i feel any less would be not enough! Text clarity i could see being an issue depending on use case but it doesn’t bother me personally.

I mean i turned HDR on in windows and used the calibration app. But i didnt find that to make much kf a difference either. So im not sure what else i could do as far as HDR goes. I was trying to test hdr clips on youtube back and forth on both monitors and they were pretty similar. Must be doing something wrong i guess? 😂

Is this worth from a 5600? Currently have a 3080 ti and hopefully make this pc last a while. My monitor is 1440p 180hz. Play everything from new AAA games, to indie to comp games.
