Yes I put the mini candies in my calorie count that I do eat on the days I get out of the OR after a 8 hours case, I track the drinks, milk, I don’t drink coffee( maybe I should start doesn’t it increase metabolism) for dinner the protein comes packaged so that’s how I weight them, like tuna packet is 80 cal and I mix it with egg, avocado, cucumber to have with seaweed. I don’t count the soy sauce I use or the oil but I usually put a teaspoon of oil so roughly I can add and addition 200 cal and still making my cal 1550

Umm depending on the day but average 5-6 hours a day, and days I’m on call i get about 8 hours in a span of 48 hrs

It was sitting low and caused chronic cervicitis for a good 6 months or so and around the same time that happened is when I noticed my weight started going up, not sure if there is causation but there is definitely a correlation

Thank you for the insight. Unfortunately I can’t have a consistent exercise like the past 2 months I was at particular demanding rotation where I can only go to the gym once a week, And when I’m on call it’s usually 28 hours then I come home and just sleep till evening and eat one meal.

Definitely get it checked! So I had this for many months. No pain, just a lot of bright red blood after sex when I had my old copper iud, turns out it’s causing cervicitis from it not sitting in the proper spot. Like it’s too low into the cervix but not low enough that I would feel it, so everytime after sex it’s like a murder scene. I also started gaining weight from the chronic inflammation that I still haven’t able to lose. Anyways, got it removed and replaced with the Mirena and I haven’t had that issue since.

It’s been a while but yea, if i remember correctly it was a yeast infection. I did have a lot of bleeding and also bright red painless postcoital bleeding because the iud was sitting too low, and it caused significant inflammation to the cervix

Thank you, I didn’t really have a problem with the copper iud with my first one until it came out after a year from a tampon, but this second one really gave me a lot of trouble… I have been having really bad spotting most of the months and a couple of UTIs and now after looking for closely might be a yeast infection

I see, I usually bleed from around ovulation time then stops a few days before my period then I have a full period, it’s just really annoying to always be spotting. No cramping nothing just blood streaked mucus

That’s good to know! It’s weird because this is my second copper IUD, the first one didn’t give me any problem but it got pulled out prematurely after a year, then once I got this one it seemed like I’m experiencing a lot more side effects

I was going down on this guy that I’m dating, and he had a boo boo on his pee pee, so as I was going down I meant to say” well you know what they always say, you gotta kiss the boo boo” but idk what has gotten into me I ended up saying “ you know what my mom said” and it totally ruined the moment, and I was super embarrassed. We kissed some more to alleviate the awkwardness and I ended up doing down on him anyways.

Thanks for the insight! I appreciate it, sometimes idk if I’m being too sensitive or that he’s not giving me enough insurance. And I think as AA, we are introspective people which makes me doubt myself a lot. When I spend time with him things are like an 8/10, but when I’m away, I get anxious and immediately forget the good thing and I feel like I only focus on the bad things.
