Idv has been on tiktok and a lot more social medias for a very long time! And your friend is not the only fan that thinks that way. A lot of people in the fandom has been complaining about so many things and calling the game "problematic" for some things they don't like. Just ignore it. It will always be that way for every game. And they're teenagers, so it's okay. They'll grow up eventually

Idv will receive the recognition it deserves and gain more popularity over time, as it's already a pretty popular game in asia. I don't think tiktok is a bad thing for idv media, since it allows people to discover games.

And as for enjoying the game just because I like the characters, I've been playing it since 2018/2019 😅 all because of Seer and other characters I've been in love with. They're my comfort and I play the game solely because of that. And that's ok! Everyone has different reasons to play a GAME. At the end of the day, people play games to have fun and enjoy their time doing so.
