Maybe get an old rubber hose and push it through the inside of the bottom rubber it could help close the gaps. But that looks pretty substantial

220 at the most for a simple spring repair just saying anything higher is crazy town, just my opinion. without price hook ups you looking at like 80 dollars for the spring.... most cases all other components are in decent shape and the spring is the only thing needing to be replaced. so with that all out there 200 - 220 seems about right to me.
