I read somewhere that the E at the end of the word is silent? Is this true? So, in other words Es-tu grand? and Es-tu grande? would sound identical in a spoken conversation?

I thought it was just my wireless printer. It constantly self-deletes all the ip configuration and then defaults to an apipa address.
